Here is where coaches can perhaps add to their knowledge and share what they know with others. I'm going to include coaching article submitted by readers as well as information about coaching clinics.

Articles don't have to be long — a few paragraphs about some unique part of your program would be great if you have something to share. Acceptable topics involve anything to do with track & field, cross-country, or related areas. (Besides, you can always put it on your resume that you've had an article published!)

As always, article do not necessarily reflect the views of the Texas Track & Field webmaster (namely, me!) and the validity and reliability of all information presented is the sole responsibility of the author, not the publisher. Remember to use professional judgment when evaluating and using the ideas of anyone else. If you have questions or comments about a specific article, please submit them to the author. Please be sure to let authors know if they've helped you with a short note of thanks.

Article Submissions

If you have something which you feel will add to the body of knowledge about track & field, cross-country, or related areas, please feel free to submit an article for publishing online. Articles should be of reasonable length and may include drawings, graphs, photos, etc. Articles should be submitted electronically, either through email or on a 3.5" diskette.I have the capability to scan illustrations if you don't have a scanner.

Include with your article, the following:

  1. A brief description to be used on the "Coaches' Corner" page.

  2. Brief biographical info on the author (include a photo, if you'd like)

  3. Email or postal address (to be posted online) where you can be reached for more information by interested readers.

Articles can be emailed or sent to Phil Murray, PO Box 10481, Ft. Worth, TX 76114.

As editor, I reserve the right to edit any article for content and to refuse publication of any article at my discretion. (Can't see it happening, but you never know what someone might submit...)
